FAQ

I am not an artist. How will I do at an event ?

Art and painting is definitely a learned skill and I believe everyone can learn it! Our classes are very simple and easy to follow along. You will be instructed at each step and will be very surprised at your final piece! Just relax, let go, and have fun! No skills are required at these events and you will see it’s more about the party than the paint!

What do I need to bring ?

We provide all of the supplies you need to have a good time. The paint, paint brushes, easels, aprons, table cloths, and canvas/wood. All you need to do is show up and have a good time. Alcoholic beverages and snacks ARE NOT included. You may however bring your own snacks and wine/beer. You MUST BE 21 years of age in order to consume alcohol on the premises. 

I want to book a private party, what do I need to know?

Private parties are great and fun for various groups of people. There is a minimum of 8 guests and a max of 28 unless we discuss otherwise. Your painting or project can be customized to fit the theme of the night.  

There is a deposit of $50 for all private parties. This will be credited back to you on the night of your party in either cash or credit towards your ticket sales. In the event you are unable to secure your 8 guest minimum for the private party the deposit will be forfeited. If you need to reschedule you must do so 7 days in advance in order to not forfeit the $50. 

What is your payment policy?

Cash and card payments are accepted. 

There is a deposit of $50 for all private parties. The deposit will be credited back to you on the night of your party in either cash or credit towards your ticket sales. In the event you are unable to secure your 8 guest minimum for the private party the deposit will be forfeited. 

Birthday Parties and Space rental has a $75 deposit that is non-refundable and is not credited towards ticket prices. This is the fee for using the space. 

In order to reschedule an event you MUST do so 7 days in advance in order to not forfeit your deposit.

How long is the class AND WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Class times vary as each group has their own pacing. On average the classes last approximately 2 hours. If a painting or project is more detailed and requires more time it will be listed in the details of the event page. Kids classes are usually 1.5 hours long. 

We encourage you to arrive 10 minutes early as class starts promptly on time even if some members of the party are running late. 

What Should I wear to sessions?

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes to every session. We supply aprons for protection against water-based acrylic paint that we use. These paints become water-resistant when they dry, so roll your sleeves up!

We are not responsible for damage to any clothing. Please dress in clothing you do not mind getting paint on if you are a messy painter!

Is there an age restriction on the classes?

Sort of, but not always! It’s advised that only 16+  attend these events. Some private parties where alcohol is being served you must be 21+ to attend. For most public events 12+ can attend but please be advised these parties are generally attended by adults and may not be suitable. Please use your best judgement. I have many kids events where children of any age may attend! 

Can I bring alcohol?

You may bring wine or beer to events that ARE NOT children parties/events. You MUST BE 21 years of age or older in order to drink. 

Do you travel?

I can travel up to 25 miles. My mobile parties are $35 per person. I do provide everything (paints, canvas, brushes, aprons, table cloths, clean up, set up, and even digital event flyers if you need those). There is an 8 person minimum. A deposit of $75 must be paid in advance to reserve the date. If the 8 person minimum is not met you will forfeit the deposit. If the minimum is met the deposit will go towards ticket costs the night of the event. I require 7 days notice to reschedule the event in order to not forfeit the deposit.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes we sure do! We offer a group rate which varies based on the number in the group and type of project chosen. We will work with you to find an event that fits in the budget!

 

We also offer 10% military discount to active, dependents, and veterans. 

Do you offer any extras that I should know about?

Yes I do! Digital party flyers or invitations can be sent to you. These will be customized for your party. You may share these on social media or print and hand out/hang up. 

What about fundraisers?

We are able to work with your group to customize any session to help raise money for various events and charities. We can work with you for just the right project, and adjust ticket price as needed so that you are able to raise the amount of money your special event needs.                                         

What kind of events are great for paint/Craft parties?

While you never really need a reason to host a painting party other than just to have fun, there are many events that are perfect for painting parties! These include: Birthday Parties – An inexpensive way to have fun, interactive and creative birthday party for kids and adults alike. Plus, it will be truly memorable because each partygoer will have a completed painting to take home. Holiday Parties/Family Get-togethers. Bachelorette Parties, Wedding Showers, Baby Showers, date nights, and more!

What is your cancellation policy?

Despite the best intentions and most organized of plans, we understand that unforeseen events can arise, so please let us know immediately! Should you need to cancel your event or attendance we need at least 48 hours notice to receive a full refund. You may opt to reschedule at no charge. I am always willing to work with you. A no call no show or less than 48 hours notice will result with no refund and there are no exceptions to this rule.
