This design DOES NOT fit in a 5×7 hoop. The design measures 6×7. When you resize it to fit in the 5×7 hoop it makes the sleeves too short. Our poor elf has a Dr lab coat with sleeves just below the elbows and has about a 0.75 inch gap in the front where the coat doesn’t even meet. I was going to buy more items to make for the elf, but I will look at a different site. This is not my first time creating outfits for our elf. So, it’s not that I don’t know what I’m doing. I would not have purchased if I had known it was not actually sized for a 5×7 hoop.
